Composition:

• Each 100 gram contains: Tylosin Tartrate 100 gm.

• (As per Innovator’s specification).

Description

• Tylosin is a bacteriostatic macrolide antibiotic used in veterinary medicine.

• It is a fermentation product of Streptomyces fradiae.

• It has broad-spectrum activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms, including Campylobacter, Staphylococci, Streptococci, Corynebacteria, Erysipelothrix, Chlamydia, Pasteurella, Clostridium spp., and Mycoplasma.

• Tylosin is approved by the US-FDA, the European Union (EU), and many other countries for therapeutics to treat respiratory illnesses and other bacterial infections.

Indication

• Chicken: For the control and treatment of Chronic respiratory disease (CRD) associated with Mycoplasma synoviae and Mycoplasma gallisepticum in broilers and replacement chickens.

• For the control and treatment of necrotic enteritis (NE) caused by Clostridium perfringens in broilers.

• For the treatment of avian spirochetosis.

• Cattle: Bovine respiratory complex associated with Pasteurella multocida and foot-rot (necrotic pododermatitis).

Dosage and Administration

• 1 kg per 2000 liters of drinking water (80-160 mg/kg b.w.) for 3-5 days, depending on the severity of the infection.

• Only medicated water should be available to the birds.

Precaution

• Always store at room temperature and avoid extreme temperatures.

• Protect from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Not suitable for human use.

• After each use, close the jar securely.

• Wash hands thoroughly after use.
