Description:
Vitamin A: Vitamin A has multiple functions. It is important for growth and development. Maintains the structure and function of the epithelial cells and bone activity. Stimulates the production and differentiation of the mucus-secreting cells. It is necessary for spermatogenesis in the males and for maintenance of pregnancy in the females.
Vitamin D3: It is synthesized in the epidermis by the action of UV radiation on a precursor molecule. It is essential in the absorption, regulation and metabolism of calcium and phosphorus and necessary for the appropriate mineralization of the cartilage matrix.
Vitamin E: It is a group of fat-soluble compounds with antioxidant activity, it prevents the oxidation of the membrane’s polyunsaturated fatty acids, preventing the formation of free radicals and of peroxides which are the cause of cell degeneration and destruction.
Vitamin K participates in the synthesis of proteins. it is especially responsible for the regulation and maintenance of the formation of prothrombin, necessary for the process of blood clotting.
Vitamin C: is a water-soluble antioxidant compound that protects cell against oxidative damage and improves immune system function. It is believed to play a role in protein and lipid synthesis, maintains blood vessel integrity. Vitamin C improves cellular immune response, increases the synthesis of collagen and fights stress (due to heat, transport, handling, etc.).
