T-PHENIC liquid

Composition: Each ml contains:

• Thiamphenicol…………………….250 mg

• (As per Innovator’s Specifications)

Description:

• Thiamphenicol is a chloramphenicol analog with broad-spectrum bacteriostatic activity to treat infections caused by G-positive and G-negative bacteria.

• In poultry, orally administered thiamphenicol has a rapid absorption and good tissue distribution (lungs, liver and kidneys).

• Thiamphenicol works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacterial cells, thereby halting their growth and spread.

• Thiamphenicol undergoes minimal metabolism and excretion occurs primarily through kidney largely as unchanged drug.

Indications:

• In poultry, T-Phenic is used to treat respiratory and GIT infections like Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, Pasteurellosis and Streptococcus spp. infections caused by bacteria susceptible to thiamphenicol).

Dosage and Administration:

• Mix 1 ml of T-Phenic per 1-2 liter of clean drinking water and administer for 3-5 days OR as prescribed by poultry veterinarian.

Withdrawal:

• Poultry meat = 7 days

Precautions:

• Store at room temperature (avoid extreme temperature).

• Protect from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• After each use close bottle securely.

• Wash hands thoroughly after use.
