Description:
Enrofloxacin is a synthetic fluoroquinolone and a potent, broad spectrum antibacterial agent.
Bactericidal action results from blocking DNA gyrase or topoisomerase IV enzyme necessary for DNA replication and transcription, leading to bacterial cell death.
The bactericidal effect is concentration dependent, and Enrofloxacin has good absorption, wide distribution, excellent tissue penetration, and is eliminated via urine and faeces.
Colistin is an antibiotic from the polymyxins group with a bactericidal action mostly against Gram negative bacteria like Escherichia coli, Haemophilus, and Salmonella spp.
It causes disorganization of the bacterial cell membrane with leakage of intracellular materials and subsequently cell death.
Resistance to colistin is uncommon.
Indications:
For the treatment of infection caused by microorganisms sensitive to Enrofloxacin and Colistin Sulphate like: Campylobacter, Avibacterium paragallinarum, Pasteurella multocida, Escherichia coli, and Mycoplasma species.

Dosage:
For oral administration through drinking water.
Poultry: 1 ml per 20 kg body weight (10 mg/kg body weight) for 3-5 days or as prescribed by the veterinarian.
Withdrawal time:
Poultry: 1 week
