DG STREPT injection

COMPOSITION:

Each vial contains:

• Penicillin G Procaine……………………30,00,000 IU

• Penicillin G Sodium…………………….10,00,000 IU

• Dihydro Streptomycin Sulphate…………………..5gm (As per Innovator’s Specification)

INDICATIONS:

DG STREPT injection is indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia, gastroenteritis, mastitis, metritis and other general infections of domestic animals.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:

Add 30ml sterile water for injection in vial & shake well to make complete solution and administered by intramuscular injection.

• Cattle / Horse / Camel: 15ml per 200 Kg body weight.

• Sheep / Goat: 3ml per 40 Kg body weight.

• Dog / Cat / Poultry: 0.75ml per 10 Kg body weight.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

• Meat: 30 days

• Milk: 3 days

PRECAUTIONS:

• Consult the veterinarian before use.

• Always store at room temperature (avoid extreme temperature).

• Use the product within 28 days after opening the vial.

• Do not use in animals sensitive to penicillin.

• Shake well before use.

• Keep out of the reach of children.

• Protect from direct sunlight and moisture.
