A-GENT injection

COMPOSITION:

Each ml contains:

• Amoxicillin as Trihydrate……………………………………150mg

• Gentamycin as Sulphate……………………………………..40mg (As per Innovator’s Specification) *

INDICATIONS:

A-GENT IM injection is indicated for the treatment of pneumonia, diarrhea, bacterial enteritis, mastitis, metritis and cutaneous abscesses in ruminants.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:

For intramuscular administration, the general dosage is 1 ml per 10 Kg body weight per day for 3 days.

• Cattle / Buffalo: 10ml per 100 Kg bodyweight.

• Sheep / Goat: 5ml per 50 Kg bodyweight.

• Poultry: 0.3ml per 3 Kg bodyweight.

Do not repeat to inject 20ml in Cattle and more than 5ml in calves at same injection site for better absorption and dispersion of drug.

WITHDRAWAL TIME:

Milk: 2 days        Meat: 30 days.

PRECAUTIONS:

• Shake well before use.

• Consult the veterinarian before use.

• Always store at room temperature (avoid extreme temperature).

• Protect from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Keep out of the reach of children.

• Do not administer to animals sensitive to penicillin and amino glycosides.
