Y-GENT injection

COMPOSITION:

Each ml contains:

• Gentamycin Sulphate eq. to Gentamycin…..100 mg (BP Specification)

INDICATIONS:

For the treatment of severe bacterial infections by organisms resistant to other antibiotics. A broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against a wide range of Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria and Mycoplasma infections of the respiratory, gastrointestinal and urogenital tracts.

DOSAGE:

May be used by I/M, I/ or Sub/Cut route.

• Cattle, horses: 5ml per 100kg body weight

• Camel: 4ml per 100kg body weight

• Calf, Sheep, Goat: 3ml per 50kg body weight

• Pets: 0.50ml per 5kg body weight

• Poultry: 1ml per 10kg body weight

Repeat first injection at 12-hours interval and then once daily for 3 – 5 days.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

• Meat, Eggs: 7 days

• Milk: 5 days

PRECAUTIONS:

• Always store at room temperature (avoid extreme temperature).

• Protect from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Don’t use if the solution becomes turbid or blackish.
