Description:
Clavbro-X is an innovative combination of antibacterial and bronchodilator to combat wide range of bacterial diseases caused by both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria in poultry (sensitive to this combination).
Amoxicillin, A semi-synthetic, broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic used to treat and prevent bacterial infections in poultry. It is effective against a range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Escherichia coli (E. coli), Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella, Clostridium, penicillinase-negative Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp., Amoxicillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to specific penicillin-binding proteins (interferes with cross linkages of peptidoglycan chain) leading to bacterial cell lysis.
Clavulanic acid acts as $\beta$-lactamase inhibitor and ensuring potency of the amoxicillin. It irreversibly binds to the $\beta$-lactamase enzyme and inactivate it resulting in more reliable antibacterial effect.
Bromhexine is a mucolytic agent. It works by breaking down and thinning mucous, thereby facilitate its clearance from the respiratory tract.
Indications:
Clavbro-X is indicated for the control and treatment of respiratory and gastro intestinal tract infections caused by bacteria susceptible to amoxicillin and clavulanic acid (like Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, Pasteurellosis and Pneumonia) and $\beta$-lactamase producing bacteria such as Klebsiella and Proteus.
Dosage & Administration:
In poultry: Dissolve 1 gram of Clavbro-X WSP in 1-2 liters of clean drinking water and administer for 3-5 days OR as prescribed by poultry veterinarian.
Withdrawal Time:
Poultry Meat & Offal: 5 days
