INDICATIONS
Florfenicol is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including some anaerobes.
Florfenicol inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit and affecting peptidyl transferase enzyme activity.
The spectrum of activity for Florfenicol includes most important enteric, respiratory, and dermal/sepsis-related bacterial pathogens of food animals.
Neomycin is a broad-spectrum bactericidal aminoglycoside antibiotic active against certain members of the Enterobacteriaceae family, such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Shigella spp., and Klebsiella spp.
Neomycin inhibits protein synthesis by binding to bacterial ribosomes, and since only a fraction is absorbed when administered orally, it is used mostly for treating enteric infections in poultry and livestock.
Oxytetracycline belongs to the tetracycline group and acts as a bacteriostatic against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, Escherichia coli, Haemophilus Paragallinarum, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus spp.
Oxytetracycline inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by reversibly binding to the 30-S ribosomal subunit.
Eter Neofloron is a unique combination of potent antibiotics indicated in poultry for the prevention and treatment of diseases caused by sensitive bacteria, such as:
Omphalitis
GIT infection
Respiratory infection
Salmonellosis
Colibacillosis
Fowl cholera
