TYLO TARTRATE-98 powder
Composition
Each Kg contains Tylosin tartrate at 0.980 Kg.
This is per innovator’s specifications.
Description
Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic that produces a bacteriostatic effect by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit to inhibit bacterial protein synthesis.
This action disrupts bacterial growth and replication, controlling susceptible infections effectively.
Tylosin is active against certain Gram-negative bacteria, Mycoplasma, and Gram-positive bacteria.
In poultry, the drug is rapidly absorbed following oral administration and is widely distributed into respiratory tissues.
It primarily undergoes hepatic metabolism and is excreted via the kidneys.
