COMPOSITION:
Each 100ml contains
Enrofloxacin…………………………….10 gm
Colistin sulphate……………………….50 MIU (Innovator’s Specifications).
DESCRIPTION:
Enrofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone broad-spectrum antibacterial which is useful for treating a wide range of bacterial infection in poultry. Enrofloxacin is the drug of choice against Mycoplasma, some gram-positive and most Gram-negative bacteria including Escherichia coli and Salmonella spp. Colistin is an antibiotic from polymyxin group and highly selective for the treatment of infection caused by Gram-negative bacteria especially Enterobacteriaceae family.
INDICATION:
In poultry Et Enrocamalin is recommended for the treatment of gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract diseases (caused by micro-organisms sensitive to enrofloxacin and colistin sulphate), like: Mycoplasmosis, CRD, CCRD, Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, Pasteurellosis, Clostridial infection and Secondary bacterial infections occurring during or after viral diseases.
DOSAGE:
Poultry: For oral administration through drinking water. 1 litre per 1000 – 2000 litres of drinking water for 3 – 5 days or as advised by poultry veterinarian.
WITHDRAWAL TIMES:
For meat: 12 days
