DESCREPTION:

(Note: typo on label) Chlortetracycline Hydrochloride is a tetracycline with broad-spectrum antibacterial and antiprotozoal activity. It is bacteriostatic and inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to 30S ribosomal subunit, (interfering with the attachment of aminoacyl-tRNA to the mRNA-ribosome complex during protein synthesis). Following oral administration, chlortetracycline is readily absorbed and widely distributed. It penetrates effectively into respiratory tissues, making it particularly valuable for combating respiratory infections in poultry. The antibiotic is primarily eliminated via renal excretion, with a portion excreted unchanged in the urine.

INDICATIONS:

Cyclo-Mix 20 is indicated for the treatment of respiratory and GIT infection in poultry (caused by micro-organisms sensitive to chlortetracycline) like Mycoplasmosis, CRD, CCRD, Salmonellosis, Colibacillosis and Pasteurellosis.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

For oral administration through feed or drinking water.

• Poultry: 1 Kg Cyclo-Mix 20 per 1000-1500 liters of drinking water (@60 mg/kg therapeutic dose) OR as prescribed by poultry Veterinarian.

WITHDRAWAL TIMES:

• Poultry Meat: 4 Days

• After each use close container securely.

• Wash hands thoroughly after use.
