Description:
Vitamin E plays a significant role in growth, tissue integrity, reproduction, and disease resistance. Vitamin E is an excellent antioxidant, and protects cell membranes from oxidative damage caused by free electrons. Vitamin E activates specific and non-specific immunity and promotes the phagocytic activity of macrophages. It also plays an important role in the enhancement of fertility. Selenium is an essential trace mineral and integral component of enzyme glutathione peroxidase, which plays an important role in protection of cells. Zinc is an important mineral and plays an important role in metabolism, act as co-factor for several enzymes. Zinc deficiency is associated with a wide range of physiological disorders including weight loss, growth retardation, nervous and immune disorders. Zinc also plays an important role in reproduction.
